Ikan Bakar again...

I just finished my end of semester 1 exam, so I decided to go back to Penang a day after I finish it. Hahaha. Quite a risky decision since each of my class member has to do presentation for our Mechanics : Static subject, conducted by Dato Hakim (UniKL President). Without proper preparation, I just did my part and my mark wasn't that good. What a tiring day. In the morning, I sent my baby (pc) to my cousin's place. Better security compared to mine. After the presentation, I rushed to KL Sentral, took a SkyBus in order to make sure I get to board my flight at 7.35 pm in LCCT. I slept all the way from KL Sentral to LCCT. I arrived just in time at LCCT, perform Asar prayer and check-in my luggage before I went to the usual place that I will go when I'm in LCCT, the AirAsia office. Love to go there. Most of the pilots were there before they start their work.
I boarded my flight at 7.20 pm. It was raining but no need to use umbrella.
The flight wasn't smooth from KL to Penang due to bad whether. I need to use the lavatory, so I just rushed towards it although our first officer, Melissa advised us not to leave our seat for safety reason. It was a hard time for me in the lavatory. Bumping here and there. I had to hold a handle to keep myself steady.Hahaha.
My flight landed in Penang safely ( I prayed hard that the plane will skid-off runaway during landing ; bad me) at 8.30 pm. It was raining heavily, so AirAsia had to use the aerobridge provided by Penang International Airport authority. My luggage was wet when I picked it up at the arrival hall. Huh!
My family members were waiting for me at the airport. Then, we went to Jerejak beach, famous with its 'ikan bakar'. Below are some of the pictures taken there...

Hopefully, we may go there again next time. To Syahmi, we'll bring you along next time. Huhuhu...

Mok Lah's Vacation

Hahaha. You must be questioned...Who is Mok Lah? Of course he is one of my friend from Bachok, the place where everything is possible.Last December, he went to my house in Seberang Perai, for some unplanned vacation. We initially wanted to visit the Western Digital factory in Bayan Lepas, but it seems that it couldn't be accomplished due to some restrictions. So, we just changed our plan and went around Penang without a proper plan.Batu Feringghi, Penang road, Padang Kota, Gurney drive, Queensbay Mall, Bayan Lepas, Penang port and Penang bridge.3 days were spent and the total fuel consumption was RM60 because my family don't have any compact car. What a waste!

This picture was taken in Bayview Batu Feringghi, where my family stay

As you can see in the above picture, Mok Lah is on the left side. His real name appeared to be Zuhairi. We called it Mok Lah because he once in scandal with a canteen worker namely Mok Lah.Sori Eri.Kui3...

This is me at the Batu Feringghi beach, during sunset

I love to go to Batu Feringghi beach because it is always full with tourists especially those who are from the Middle East.Even most of the worker in Batu Feringghi can speak Arabic well. This place is the main tourist attraction in Penang.I have no idea, why they really love beach..

My brother and his beloved cap

At the Bukit Bendera train station. The boy wearing t-shirt with stripes is Haziq, Zuhairi's friend from Politeknik Kota Bharu. His brother is wearing the purple t-shirt.

Its not our luck, maybe. We didn't have the opportunity to be on top of Bukit Bendera due to long que time.We have to wait for about two hours before we can board the train to the peek.Hopefully, we're able to do that next time.

Don't know where to go, so we snap a picture

Finally, thanks to Zuhairi and Haziq for visiting Penang. If not, I'll stay at my home, doing nothing.Hahahaha.

Hari Raya Korban

As I mentioned before, my post are a little bit late.Hope you guys won't mind. For this post, I'm gonna write about the Hari Raya Korban a.k.a Hari Raya Haji. For most of the west coast state in Malaysia, this hari raya is not really significant.I once asked a friend from KL on how his family celebrate this festival. He simply replied, "Kitorg bangun pagi, gi solat sunat hari raya pastu balik umah mcm biasa je".
For me who celebrated this hari raya in the east coast of Malaysia, it is similar to how we celebrate Hari Raya Puasa or Aidilfitri.Of course we'll gather at my grandparents house in Bachok, Kelantan for about two or three days. Its really fun.
When we talk about this celebrations, most people will think about cows to be sacrificed (I'm not sure about this statement). We're happy to hear about the coming feast but I don't know how did the cows community feel about this.Maybe they can accept it was their fate that there were sent to the Earth as animals and being sacrificed on this holy day maybe.
For the kids especially, this celebration is like crazy to them. They got to meet each other and play non-stop, sometimes until 2 or 3 am in the morning.I was like that too when I was a kid.I have no idea on what I should write...so, I leave this crucial tasks to some of the pictures yaa...Bye.

Can u see how happy were they?
